Club has added Keeper/batter Jack Lofthouse to their squad for the 2023 season

Jack is an experienced keeper/bat, who has recent experience playing in National ECB competitions.

He explains his recent success and plans for the season and beyond:

“I put in some good performances in winning the Disability County Championship in 2021, which led me to be drafted in the inaugural Disability Premier League, a franchise competition run by the ECB with the final held at Bristol County Ground, broadcast live on Sky Sports.

This winter I have been training with the England Deaf team. I’m hoping that a good season with WSM, Surrey (Disability County), and Tridents (DPL) can help me get a spot on the plane for the World Cup in Qatar in December.

After moving from London to Somerset, joining WSM will allow me to train, test myself and hopefully prove myself at a high level over the summer.”
